Usage of Symbol

1. A size of symbol may be adjusted under a size of subject machine or apparatus.
2. To make a symbol clear, if required, letters or characters in Korean or English may be attached around a symbol
3. A symbol shall be attached, imprinted, or carved to a proper place on a container or packing material containing a machine or apparatus for safety certification symbol.
4. In principle, a symbol shall have blue edge and characters and white background, but depending on a background color of subject, edge and characters may have a white color and other parts may have a blue color. In this case, a chromaticity of blue shall be 2.5PB 4/10 and a chromaticity of white shall be N9.5 [This chromaticity standard falls under the Method of Marking under Three Properties of Color by Korean Industrial Standards (KS) (KSA 0062)].
5. In marking a symbol, a material with rough surface or a material harmful to human body may not be used.
