Safety Certification Symbol

Usage of Symbol

1. A size of symbol may be adjusted depending on a size of machine or a tool of subject for safety certification symbol, but a symbol may not have a height (length) less than 5-mm.
2. To make a symbol clear, if required, letters or characters in Korean or English may be attached around a symbol.
3. A symbol shall be attached or imprinted to a proper place on a container or packing material containing a subject for safety certification symbol.
4. The title of color for basic symbol of Korea Certification shall be "KC Dark Blue," and if a spot color is required for printing, the PANTONE 288C color shall be used. If a symbol is printed into the four primary colors, it shall be printed into C: 100 %, M: 80 %, Y: 0 %, K: 30 %.

1. For a special effect, gold and silver colors may be used, and if chromatic colors may not be used, a black color may be used. In case of printing in a spot color, the PANTONE color for each hue mentioned below may be used.

1. In marking a symbol, a material with rough surface or a material harmful to human body may not be used.
